To address long-standing financial and compliance challenges in the advertising sector, AAAB organised its first-ever workshop dedicated to VAT and taxation, “The VAT and Tax Playbook: Financial Management for Agencies.”

- Opening remarks by Syed Ahsanul Apon (General Secretary), who emphasized the sector’s market potential (BDT 12,028 crore annual value by 2025; 7.5 million employed, mostly youth) but also highlighted structural challenges including inconsistent VAT and tax rules.

- → Md. Ramzan Ali ACMA (FCB Bitopi) on banking, billing, contracts, financial transparency, and ethical practices.
- AAAB leaders M.A. Maruf (Joint Secretary) and Sarah Ali (Treasurer) were present to engage with participants.
