AAAB hosted “How to Tame Lions”, a one-day creative masterclass designed to equip Bangladesh’s creative professionals with the tools, perspectives, and strategies required to compete successfully on the global stage, including Cannes Lions.

- Led by Mohammad Akrum Hossain, CCO of POP5 and a Cannes Lion-winning creative leader and jury member.
- Virtual sessions from Ali Rez (CCO, IMPACT BBDO MENAP; Cannes Lions Jury President) and Seiya Matsumiya (CEO, Black Cat White Cat Music), both of whom shared international insights on creativity and campaign craft.
- Hands-on sessions covered: global vs. local creative standards, how to craft winning case films, practical frameworks for campaign storytelling, and live jury insights.
- Participants worked on a live creative brief, receiving real-time feedback from industry leaders.
Takeaways & Impact
Attendees gained practical skills for international award submissions, exposure to world-class creative thinking, and the chance to network with Bangladesh’s leading creatives and marketers. Many participants left with frameworks they could immediately apply to their campaigns.

The workshop opened with remarks by Syed Ahsanul Apon (General Secretary) and M. A. Maruf (Joint Secretary). The event closed with a crest handover ceremony to honor contributors.
Closing & Follow-up
The day-long program (11 AM – 6 PM) concluded with networking among participants. AAAB signaled that this was only the beginning of more creative capability-building workshops to come.
